A strong supporter of local, small businesses, teamworks partnered with beloved bakeshop Tracy Dempsey Originals and its sister wine shop, ODV Wines to spread the word about their products and services. Just as we were getting programs rolling, COVID-19 hit, causing the team to pivot and develop new ways of keeping the business going during the pandemic.
Highlights
- Since in-person shopping was no longer available, the shop changed to an online, advanced ordering model. We ramped up a more aggressive social media campaign to promote the product offerings, which included the creation of a weekly takeout/curbside pickup meal.
- New ways of shopping for wine included Facetime virtual shopping and by appointment only socially distanced shopping. We also further promoted the ODV Wine Club, increasing membership during the pandemic.
- The shop’s new ways of doing business – from expanding their CSA program to pick-up cookie decorating kits to Zoom cake decorating classes, were promoted with local media, resulting in several TV segments and attention by the local press.
To date, the new programs and procedures created by Tracy and teamworks have resulted in a steady flow of business during a troubling time.
